Could you tell us briefly about your family background?

I am married and My husband is heading the Engineering department in a Pharma company--"Jubilant LifeSciences ". I have 2 daughters aged 7 and 13 both are studying in Chandigarh Sacred heart school.

Working Life Management:

For a woman to manage her professional and personal life is very difficult. To balance Work and life ---"My Mantra" is when at work think only of work, put in focused 6-7 hrs and when at home its only Family. I do not attend any official call or even check emails.

Degrees That Matter:

Yes. I think a global certification in HR is important for me, plus a certification in OD and Human Values

Job Profile:

I am heading the HR department of Regalix-Chandigarh Center. My responsibilities include all aspect of Hr including --hiring, Employee engagement,Employee Relation, Manpower planning, Employee Life cycle, creating policies etc

Plans For The Future:

In 2-3 years from now I want to start working as a Consultant --- dealing in Human Values in Corporate s and Need for Emotional Intelligence

Prized Accomplishment(s):

In my first job I Single handedly hired around 500 people within span of 2 years and simultaneously trained them on a 15 days training module before hitting the operations.
It was indeed an achievement.

There are two people who have inspired me in my career as HR.
1.JM Sarkar-VP HR in a media firm. He is a walking encyclopedia of Hr.Very innovative and knowledgeable.
2.Shivraj Asthana-EVP Regalix.Knowledge par excellence,high level of integrity and EQ. Each interaction I learn something new.
