Managing professional as well as personal life

This is really interesting questions , coming to professional life it needs lot of management skills starting from communication to commanding , reporting , analyzing ,responding and many more. But simultaneously coming to personal life is just doing the things for dear one's and yourself , which actually don't need much of management explicitly , it happens with the sense. Only thing is balancing your time and productivity at professional and personal life is much important.

Current Trends

Current trends in my field (have to mention EAM -Maximo here) is actually itself changing game of business in this area in all the industries. Strategic Asset management will be buzzword very soon any aspect of industries as well life's calculative analysis.And mobile and tablet application market giving opportunity to changes the games for managing assets life cycle with at every part of user,labor,contractor,vendor,customer etc.

Company and job profile

Currently I am doing multiple roles for my employer from resource building to tech lead to business analyst to onsite co-ordinator.But my core strengths are eam product development , implementation , consulting and team leading.

Making job easier

Growing in different job roles with respective responsibilities and accountability , got me lot of learning to do work easily and properly.
Being a team player , leader , learner ,helper and motivator always helps to work at ease.

My role model

Its been very difficult for me to tag one or two personalities as role model. Having part of Creative and Innovative industry like software's which almost have impacted and proved its value EVERY OTHER industry , be it Banking ,Product maintenance , Finance , education , telecom almost all , I frankly see every other contributor is role model here ,we have to keep our brains,eyes,ear and senses open to grab the knowledge passed bye these Role Model's.

My important career decision

Well this continuous process for me , moving from technology , services sector to R&D , consulting , team leading , mentoring roles are major path breaking decisions I had taken , and happy on achieving success for these challenges I call for every decision. Taking the challenging decisions along the career path gives lot of strength, knowledge and confidence to lead the pace of dynamic Software Career paths.
Moving from Java development to Product implementation/API customization for IBM Maximo EAM and then to R&D and back to leading and consulting roles were all my major career decisions.

Being different

I simply don't segregate myself from other's just by tagging myself as engineer. But the other way having huge engineering cultural era gives me way of thinking to other problems always with OUT OF THE BOX approach , I feel "thinking out of box" should be in genes of Engineers , be it simple task or any complex RnD work.

My advice

The foremost advice I give to fresher's coming to this huge industry is being up-to date with knowledge and skill set for the job responsibilities one is is currently looking at or thinking achieve in coming years is most important in software's. And other supporting advice I would like t give is be focused and aim oriented having PLAN A and PLAN B for achieving the AIM.This is all I feel one should consider while continuously learning on the go...

Views about 'Tech product Introduction is weak among Indians'

As per my experience in this product making companies , they deal with two major agenda's , 1. focus on problem domain to come up with new /enhance products by doing LOT OF INVESTMENT in R&D. and 2. Many giant product makers believe in ACQUIRING small talented firms who actually build good products.
Coming to your point of why as nation we are lacking to make products compared to world market , is that Our VISON is not towards RnD as it takes lot of time to get ROI , as every Major business wants ROI very soon , and other thing is willingness to invest in RnD is not supported by Government and Political policy makers.

Challenges faced in job

In job finding every task as a challenge actually helps you grow , be it simple code and deployment , to convincing customers and mangers for ideas is always a challenge. One thing when in a job role achieving an extra point by doing things in out of box manner is actually helping for future roles.

Family Background

Mentioning about my family is prestige for me , its always there for you in all tough and happy times. Coming from lower middle class family , tier 3 or 4 cities gives you all needed experiences and courage to run the race with High-fi's of the metro's culture and still gives extra ability to sustain roots and values learnt from family.

Goals and Ambitions

Foreseeing the challenges in upcoming my 5-10 years in industry , goals are mutually align with the pace of game changing technologies and moving further towards business domains using all the technical expertise in hand (actually in brain) , goal is to move on business roles ladder and partnerships.

My strongest Skill

Analyzing myself to count on strongest professional attributes is itself any uneasy task , but surely commitment and dedication towards job role and learning , flexibility and leading and reporting communication are my definitive strong attributes which helps me as both team player having part of big team as well as team leader of my own group of projects.

My achievement

I believe in the concept of god of small things , every simple achievement matters to me , be it completion of Engineering , first job role , to advancing 6 technical certification , domain training's , Team lead role every thing is an achievement for me.
