Additional information
Most students tend to presume education to be marks, buttering teachers for more marks and again fighting with faculties for yet more marks. There is an observed decline in the interest to go beyond books. Forget doing research and allotting time for games and exercise. Education isnt only marks !! Its what you continue doing for lifetime. Students think pay packages, crushing/cheating people to get promotions in the corporate is all a human being is supposed to do in a lifetime. Civic sense, social inclination, offering unconditional help are all words of the bygone era!!
Family Background
My father is a GM at Engineering Projects of India Ltd(Govt of India undertaking)and has been posted across East and North East and South India over a period of 29 years.
My mother is a housewife and speaks Telugu, Hindi, Bengali and is an expert cook in all the regional cuisines.
My father hails from a middle class family from East Godavari Distt, Andhra Pradesh where my paternal grandfather was a tailor and had 4 sons and 5 daughters to raise.
My maternal grandfather gave up weaving(our family profession to work as a Mandal Development Officer and raised 2 sons and 3 daughters.
My elder brother is an Analyst at Infosys and my sis-in-law is software tester at TCS.
My family has taught me values such as simplicity, humbleness, selflessness and always being kind to others. If u cant hep anyone never harm anyone too !!
About Myself
I live life without complicating much. I believe in simplicity and always denounced materialism and money-mindedness. I am a responsible citizen with serious concerns towards reckless treatment of the environment and nature by the "educated fools".
I love cooking and eating and, more often than not, put others before thinking about myself.
I believe in animals also a part of our word as equal as males and females. I love dogs and leave no stone unturned in appreciating natural beauty wherever I go. I practice vegetarian eating habits and commute by public transport, unless inevitable!
I am against reservation system in jobs and also in education. I feel money is ruling the world and we "the educated" simply neglect how US companies just drain our resource pool, just by showing money and materialism. Consequently, now we live in a world where anything Indian is deemed as cheap and anything foreign as superior!
Career Expectations
MBA - International exchange programs for exposure ( or revenue channel for universities ?!?!?)
Industry exposure through sensible internships

BSc Biotechnology - Most graduates with this degree opting for MBA than a MSc in corresponding disciplines
Industry exposure through sensible internships

More than these I wish to see the mandatory studying of Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry at all colleges in India so that future Engineers care about health and well being for the rest of their lives and similarly Doctors understand and appreciate technology !! We dont want engineers who spend bulk of their money on preventable healthcare and at the same time see the doctors who cannot make use of technology to provide healthcare ! After all health(and not money) is wealth
Favorite subject
Biology - Am always interested in Life and living beings more than non-living gadgets and vehicles !!
Favorite Books and Articles
cant remember. A subject of improper education. No one taught me the importance of reading non academic books !
Spare time activities
cooking, poetry, travelling, movies
Most proud accomplishment
I was a member of the team which won a inter-school cricket championship in Std Xth against all odds. we always used to fight for a school ground and seek permission to play in the tournaments. We were never permitted. In Xth Std we just did it !! The whole team was proud and the headmistress still not convinced, that makes the feeling of pride much more merrier :-)
View s for better India
Students should not end up being "educated fools" and develop into an individual who loves his/her own home, family and country more than others.
Develop interest for research and have the entrepreneurial ability more than working for MNC's who see us as "cheap labor". Education isnt only marks !!
Students think pay packages, crushing/cheating people to get promotions in the corporate is all a human being is supposed to do in a lifetime. Civic sense, social inclination, offering unconditional help are all words of the bygone era!!
Demeaning people just by the materialistic possessions will never aid in development of nation. Involve students at school levels and promote basic civic sense amongst the elite "Corporate". If reforms, education cannot make them understand initiatives like "carpooling", "rainwater harvest""saying no-to-plastic", then at least they should feel ashamed that its taking the efforts of younger students to promote well being in the country.
