My achievements

I take on every challenge in project and convert it into an opportunity which enables to achieve milestones. So, I believe I am yet to experience an achievement which I can truly feel proud off.

Important decision

I am a quick decision maker by attitude as I believe speed and timely execution is the essence of a successful project. Some most important decisions were related to exploration and production scheduling while kicking off coal production near Nagpur, India. Working as a team made it all.

My role model

My father is a a practicing Medical Professional who has always been my Role Model. I have learnt many virtues and practical lessons from my childhood until now. Specially how to face difficult situation, testing time and outshine out of it.

I am a mining professional having about 12 years of experience in exploration to production of mineral resources. Having global exposure of developing coal mining projects in India, Indonesia, Africa, Australia, Russia and United States of America. A strategic planner, having passion to built mining projects with key focus on costing and project management. Aspiring to be global business leader in a decade.

An essential qualities of a person required to be become a successful leader should have a positive attitude, decision making ability, instill values and team spirit.

Important lesson learned

While I was in Russia in 2011 to 2012 for evaluating a coking coal mines for its acquisition. I had to learn Russian quickly in order to comprehend the entire geological reports, mining plans, techno- commercial feasibility reports in a very short span of two to three months as I was alien to Russian language. In Russia even now a days English is very uncommon. But, I could manage it quite diligently. I consider it as an immemorable lesson in my life.

Initiative to develop a country

To be frank professionals should come forward few steps more than what they do in their respective organization. To make India a developed country we must have a spirit of patriotism, work honestly and look beyond our organizations and mentor young ignited minds. We should encourage start ups and entrepreneurship.

My family background

My father is a practicing physician, mother a social worker. Neha, my wife runs an NGO and my only son is a student of Nursery grade.

Thoughts on Education system of our country

The education system in India should be completely changed as its more theoretical and less in practical training. Like the top global technical & business schools, Indian education should be more industry friendly and run hand in hand with their global counter parts. As sound education system is the base of development for a country.

My strongest professional skills are my commitment, meeting deadlines, strategic planning, project management.
