Thoughts on the teaching style.

Teaching itself is continuous learning process. I feel with time as the experience and domain knowledge increases a faculty becomes more articulate and well equipped to impart knowledge in a more successful way. Generally I prepare a lecture plan before starting a course and distribute it amongst students so that we can keep a track of completion of syllabus in proper time. But on need based basis I sometime deviate from the plan to strengthen the learning and understanding of my students. These needs can be quality of students or even the required depth of the subjects.

My parents were in administrative service. But Me and my wife have chosen academics as our career . My sister is also in academics and working as assistant professor in a Govt. college. I have a 5 year old daughter who is currently studying in a reputed school in Kolkata.
