Family Background
My dad retired as Legal Advisor in CBI and still works on CBI Panel after his retirement. My mom retired as a Principal of Air Force School. My wife works as a Test Lead in Sopra Group. I have a son who is studying in 3rd standard of Mayoor School.
Intellectual Recommendations
Some of the best testing books include: Software Engineering by Pressman, Foundations of Software Testing by Rex Black, QTP for Professionals by Tarun Lalwani, Visual Basic for Testers & Using .net for Testing by Mary Sweeney. The good websites are stickyminds,www.kaner.com,www.testobsessed.com
Additional Certifications
Having a Technical degree like B.E, or MCA is recommended. I am a co-founder of Indian Testing Board and recommend professionals to undergo ISTQB Certification. A Testing Certification from ISTQB/QAI endorses the skill sets of the Professional.
Excellence of Testing Professionals
The person who has immense attitude problems and does not have listening skills. I also find it hard to work with people who have serious integrity issues.
My Vision
I see myself setting up my own Software Testing Organization.
Starting Differently Again
I do not think I could have done anything differently in terms of my Career.

Upcoming trends
Working towards continuous improvement which results in Maturing processes & reflects in the quality of deliverables is what excites me. Working towards doing things differently & innovatively which results in minimizing monotonous work and do things smartly is what motivates me the most.
Contribution to the field
I work for job satisfaction. Monetary compensation at this stage is just a subset of expectations which just brings a confidence level, nothing more.
Challenges with QA domain
I have worked overtime, overnights, weekends and National holidays. It not only helped lifting up the confidence level of the customer to get more & better projects but also negotiate on the commercials.
Your success mantra
I do see myself successful. I have worked for the best brands like Motorola India, McAfee, Volt and shipped some of the world class products. Some References: http://www.puretesting.com/building-automated-test-systems.html, http://www.istqb.in/About_ITB.php, http://test2008.in/technical-committee
Technology was always a passion during engineering and disecting/exploring software resulted in becoming a Software Tester.
Situation where you played important role as a team player
Once we lost the key resources of Load Testing & we had to make critical deliverables to a demanding customer. I had to step down from Manager postion to drive the activity right from scripting, executions & reporting.I had to work on extended hours/overnights, weekends to make quality deliverables.
Growth Initiatives
I started with doing certifications & taking guidence from industry leaders. Later I got opportunities for sharing knowledge with Industry. the feedbacks/questions that I used to receive motivated me to explore more and expand my knowledge base along with getting back on the queries.
