Could you tell us briefly about your family background?
I came from middle class family and my father is a Telugu lecturer in my native place in AP.Mother is a house wife and I have sister. She got married and my brother in law is working as a manager in a bank.
Growth Strategy:
Well, a leader is a person who works hard towards the goal. In that aspect, a leader has to motivate himself and his team mates with valuable suggestions, directions, ideas in completing the deliverables on time. Also, a leader must be a good friend with his team mates and must listen them too.
Working Life Management:
Balancing work and the personal life is a bit challenge for any person. But in my view, I have good support from my family in balancing both without any problems. My wife always support me ingiving the directions in my career and I also listen her without hesitation.
Required Reading:
The upcoming professionals are all bright people and I don't think my suggestions or recommendations are useful for them or not. But I am giving some of the details which I used to follow. For techn/mgrial side, the corresponding online stuff is good to go. Also, discussion with colleagues/friends.
Advice For New Professionals:
I generally trust on my hard work and a bit of luck. The same stuff I would like to advice for new professionals. If you handle anything with cool mind then you are good to go anywhere. My sincere advice is that don't come to quick conclusion until you are 100% correct and confident.
Degrees That Matter:
Yes, off course. I am into technical side and I would need to update myself with all the current features/changes happening in my respective area. Certifications are plus in the corresponding skills. Experience comes first and certifications next.
Done Differently:
If I had to start my career from scratch now then I would have to build good network along with my regular jobs trails. Getting network means, I would meet various people in either at interviews or at outside. With the network, I would get benefitted on various jobs openings and all.
Career Profile:
I am a techno manager now in my current working place. Earlier I did look only on my technical stuff and complete the things on time. But now, I would be managing a team and I am the responsible for my deliverables and also for the team's deliverables. Off course there is a challenging now.
Job Profile:
I am working as a Manager - Projects at Business Process Mgmt (BPM)- Pega practice in my Organization. The role I play at my client place is to coordinate various teams and giving necessary directions. Also, helping the team on any technical clarifications.I inovolve in interviews and writing blogs.
The Decisions That Matter
I took 1 important decision before I come to this employer. I was not satisfied with my earlier employer's salary though I have got good challenging work. I took a strong decision that I want to switch the employer for not only the salary but also for future careet perspective. I feel happy now.
Plans For The Future:
To become a good senior manager with lot of learning from unknown areas in technical and managerial side.
The Journey So Far:
I struggled a lot in getting good job during initial days of my career. I did my MCA in mid of 2001 and got job in mid of 2002. I got a good and respectable job in 2003 in Bangalore. After that I never look back.
Role Model:
My seniors are my role models for my career so far I acheived. I followed almost all footsteps from them
