In a country with 89.5 percent of population online, New Zealand stands in the 46th highest download speed in the world. The government has set a fund to bring internet to 75 percent of the population by the end of the decade, which will increase the speed up to ten times. They are also planning to make the broadband effective for all the rural users and reach a connectivity rate of 97.8 percent by 2019.

In a country with 87percent of population online, UK was one of the first countries to develop a modern web infrastructure, and the country code ‘.uk’ which is been active since the mid-80s. The broadband service market in the UK has a strong competition by provide competing providers equal access to better connectivity.

In a country with 86.8 percent of online population, Canadian internet addicts suffer the extreme problem of worst connections in the developed world. A recent Net Index ranked Canada's upload speed at 5.67 Mbps, far below the global average of 7.6 Mbps, and while some regions do have much faster access available, the country's service providers offer at exceptionally uncompetitive rates.

#10.Switzerland:

According to Google’s 2012 study, Switzerland has the fastest internet connections in the world.  People are who are aged above 55, among them only 15 percent haven't used the web in the last year. With 85.2 percent of population online, considering that rate is 10percent higher than just four years ago.
