Bill Gates: Gates joined Harvard to study applied mathematics back in 1973 but quit his course before completing his years in 1975.

The man who was hailed as the richest man on earth for 15 out of the 20 years of his business life was a drop out from Harvard to start his venture.

His decision to leave Harvard gave the world one of the best software technologies, Microsoft Windows. Gates is estimated to have over $80 billion net worth. Though not completing his studies at the college, he was given an honorary degree when he delivered the school’s commencement speech back in 2007.

Mark Zuckerberg: Zuckerberg got entry to Harvard to major in Computer Science and Philosophy but dropout from the course in 2004, to start Facebook, which is now the most popular social networking site in the world. His decision to quit the course gave the world a better and more convenient way to connect.
