Bangalore: In an age of cut-throat competition, brand identity is one area that companies can get a boost-up in terms of revenue, and so they tend to take it pretty seriously. And when you have more customers vouching for your brand, you know that it isn’t going anywhere for a while, and it won’t die out too quickly.

And if you go by this train of logic, it looks like Hewlett Packard won’t be fading out at all for a long, long time—it’s the most trusted technology brand in India for the second time in a row, as per the votes of about 2718 influencer-respondents from 15 cities all over the country. The report was generated by The Trust Research Advisory (TRA), a company that aims at analyzing and measuring brand trust.

Overall, ‘Technology’ ranks as the fifth most trusted category in India, out of the 41 in the study.
