100 Apple Engineers Reportedly Working On iWatch

Bangalore: Even though there’s plenty of room for the growth of Smartphones, the tech companies are looking forward to come up with new and innovative gadgets which no one can predict of. Wearable technology has gained prominence in the market, with lots of brilliantly creative people working immensely hard to bring out such futuristic products to the market, as per CNET reports.

Apple’s ‘iWatch’ has created a buzz in the tech world, with new reports claiming that, Apple has about 100 engineers working on its rumored iOS timepiece, including some prominent Apple employees. According to Bloomberg, Apple is developing an iOS-based wristwatch and the team has grown in the past year to include employees from marketing, hardware and software units who had prior experience of working on iPhone and iPad.

Besides, the report also adds in about the key members who include James Foster, Apple’s senior director of engineering and program manager Achim Pantfoerder. The Bloomberg report published in The New York Times reports that the company was experimenting with wristwatch-like devices sported with curved glass.

The rumors of an iWatch cook up as Apple’s stock continues to be a nightmare among investors that Apple has reached the peak of its growth stage and will face a lot of difficulties over the Android rivals, especially Samsung.
