VIBGYOR Group of Schools,  a leading network of K-12 schools, proudly presents its awe-inspiring installation, ‘Mystical Realms: A Beanstalk’s Journey’, at the esteemed Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2025. This immersive installation reimagines the classic tale of Jack and the Beanstalk through the festival’s theme, Timeless Abstractions, transforming the beloved fable into a multidimensional exploration of imagination, sustainability, and human evolution.

This innovative installation transforms the iconic beanstalk into a magical railway track, carrying visitors through six fantastical realms, each symbolising a unique abstraction of time, nature, and human evolution. Conceptualised and crafted by the talented students of VIBGYOR’s Climate Academy, this project embodies a conscious commitment to sustainability, with eco-friendly materials used to construct the installation.

The Climate Academy’s participation not only brought fresh perspectives to the initiative but also fostered creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among students. Through hands-on involvement in designing and executing the installation, students developed skills in sustainability, design, and collaboration. By integrating climate-conscious principles into their creative process, they explored the intersection of art, science, and environmental responsibility, to create a meaningful display & empower young minds in shaping a greener future. Their engagement also strengthened their understanding of ecological conservation and resourcefulness, ensuring that every aspect of the installation aligned with the ethos of sustainability and meaningful storytelling.

Each realm in the installation showcases a thought-provoking exploration of human progress and environmental consciousness:

• Chronos (Realm of Shattered Time) – A fractured timeline where past, present, and future collide, inhabited by mystical beings.
• Kyurius (Realm of Advanced AI) – A neon utopia where AI and humans coexist beyond biological limitations.
• Elyria (Realm of Floating Islands) – A gravity-defying refuge amidst climate catastrophe, showcasing resilience and survival.
• Nova Terra (Realm of Radical Transformation) – A surreal world of crystalline trees and liquid silver oceans, symbolising rebirth.
• Arkeia (Realm of Ancient Knowledge) – A treasure trove of lost human wisdom, preserving the legacy of past civilisations.
• Verdania (Realm of Sentient Nature) – A vision of sustainable coexistence, where nature thrives as an interconnected, intelligent entity.
