TiE Delhi - NCR announces Srikant Sastri as its New President

The Delhi-NCR Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE Delhi-NCR), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship globally, has appointed Srikant Sastri - a seasoned investor, serial entrepreneur and currently Chairman, i3G Advisory Network as its President. Srikant takes over from Rajan Anandan, MD, Surge& Sequoia Capital after his hugely successful 3-year stint. In his current role, Srikant will spearhead initiatives focused on galvanizing the start-up ecosystem through a gamut of initiatives, more importantly, in these trying & difficult times.

On his new role, Srikant Sastri, Chairman, i3G Advisory Network said “Having been associated with TiE Delhi-NCR as a Charter Member for 2 decades, it’s an honour & privilege to now contribute from the helm. This vibrant & highly – awarded chapter has been instrumental in playing a pivotal role in the growth of the start-up ecosystem in Delhi-NCR. It continues to help entrepreneurs learn, get mentored, funded & network with the leaders in the ecosystem through its range of marquee programmes. We wish to take the learning from last year & continue supporting the community of founders whole-heartedly through this crisis.”

In 2020, our response was swift and incisive. We hosted almost 150 programmes during the course of the last 12 months. We continue to play a pivotal role in the ecosystem. The collective experience and experience of our leadership of the Board  & the Governing Council we will take the Chapter to greater heights and add immense value to the startup ecosystem.”
