Jack A. Weil

At the ripe age of 107, Jack A. Weil passed away in August 2008. Till his final days, he was the CEO of the company that he founded and used to work more than 40 hours a week.

Born in March 1901, he founded his company Rockmount at the age of 45, as a western high fashion clothing retailer. The company continued to manufacture shirts in the U.S. while many competitors moved offshore. The company became popular and its fashions were featured prominently in the 2005 Academy Award-winning film Brokeback Mountain.
