Startup gains NABL accreditation
The Alibi Global Private Ltd, a startup registered under the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL). It is the first private forensic lab to get the recognition.
Based in Technopark, the startup has been working exclusively in the domain of cyber forensics, providing training and support to the law enforcement agencies, including Kerala police, Tamil Nadu police, National Crime Records Bureau, Indian Computer Emergency Response Team, Andaman & Nicobar police, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing and also to private clients, for the last two years.
Alibi’s chairman and MD Gandhimathi Balan said that the reports furnished by NABL-accredited laboratories are accepted internationally and enjoy credibility in the court of law as well.
Alibi founder director Sowmya Balan said the firm is aiming to be a centre of excellence in cyber forensics and has plans to expand globally soon.
She added that KSUM has given support and opportunities for exposure to Alibi in its strive for growth.
