SPJIMR Empowers Start-ups through WISE Tech India Pitchathon 2025

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) successfully concluded the WISE Tech India Pitchathon 2025, powered by the Sunil Bhatia Start-up Hub. The year-long initiative culminated in a high-energy Grand Finale on November 14 at SPJIMR’s Mumbai campus, bringing together innovators, investors, and corporate leaders to strengthen India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Pitchathon drew over 700 applications from across 12 states and 16 editions, including cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, and regions in the Northeast. Out of these, 35 top start-ups advanced to the national round, presenting purpose-driven and high-impact solutions to a distinguished jury.
Keynotes by Sunil Bhatia, SPJIMR alumnus, and Ashish Fafadia from Blume Ventures inspired founders to focus on execution, customer value, and building sustainable ventures. The jury recognized innovators who combined vision with the ability to scale their solutions.
Healthtech start-ups Pamawel and DentAtHome, along with AssisTech venture Glovatrix, emerged as winners, receiving Rs 6 lakh in cash prizes, tech credits, and direct entry into the WISE Tech Accelerator starting January 2026. Participants also benefited from one-on-one Product Strategy Clinics offering tailored guidance for growth and scalability.

Varun Nagaraj, Dean of SPJIMR, highlighted that the Pitchathon reflects the institute’s commitment to 'wise innovation' fostering smart, responsible, and inclusive entrepreneurship. SPJIMR’s initiative strengthens India’s start-up ecosystem by providing mentorship, visibility, and strategic support for ventures creating commercial and societal impact.
