Solar power to light up twin towers of Startup Park
Three models have been chosen by the Indore Development Authority (IDA) for the Startup Park on Super Corridor's final design. The 87-meter-tall twin towers, which will be built in Phase I over an area of around 20 acres, will be covered with a solar thermal façade screen that will harness solar energy to provide power for the offices and other uses.
Senior IDA officials claim that the consultant for the proposed Startup Park has been picked by the board, and the business has presented three different building model options for the board to choose from. Only a few modifications in terms of the number of floors separate the three models, all of which are based on IDA's recommended standards. The expert has suggested installing a solar thermal façade screen to cover the twin towers in order to harness solar energy.
The board has hired a consultant for the proposed Startup Park, and the firm has presented three different building model options for the board to pick from. Only a few modifications in terms of the number of floors separate the three models, all of which are based on IDA's recommended standards. The expert has suggested installing a solar thermal façade screen to cover the twin towers in order to harness solar energy.
The building will have three floors for parking in the basement, three floors for a mall on the G+3 floors above it, a floor for amenities and recreation, service floors and the remaining 27 floors will be configured to suit the needs of the tenants.
Solar thermal facade screen will be installed in the twin towers of Phase-I of Startup Park to make the most of sunlight's ability to produce electricity, according to IDA CEO RP Ahirwar. "The main difference between solar thermal facade screen and the solar panels is that the former is transparent and is installed as exterior of any building to generate energy through sunlight," he added.
Similar to that, the plan will follow the path of the sun. "The consulting company has presented three models. Before requesting the board's approval for any of them to begin building the twin tower, we will examine the proposals, he continued, noting that the initial completion target for the about Rs 450 crore in construction work is 36 months.
