BANGALORE: Billions of dollars invested in cloud, wireless, big data, security and other networking startups in 2015 indicate that enterprises are all set to experience a plethora of innovative products and services.
Just as practically every startup these days claims to be a cloud company or an IoT company, they are all big data and analytics firms, tooat least they toss the hot terms into their company descriptions. Bob Brown, Network World has tried to pull out the 10 real big data and analytics companies and highlighted them below.
On the heels of the previous years megadeals, it will be interesting to see how funding for network and IT startups influences the enterprise landscape in 2016.

Funding/investors: $163M in venture funding, with a big $85M round in October, 2015 led by Iconiq Capital and Insight Venture Partners.
