Rebel Foods narrow downs the loss with 18.8% Revenue  rise
According to financial data accessed by the business intelligence platform Tofler, Rebel Foods, which owns Faasos, Behrouz Biryani, Oven Story, and other cloud kitchens, reported a narrowing of its consolidated loss to Rs 378.21 crore in FY24. 
For the fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2024, its revenue from operations increased by 18.8% to Rs 1,420.24 crore. The company generated revenue of Rs 1,195.22 crore while posting a net loss of Rs 656.55 crore in FY23. In FY 24, Rebel Foods’ other income increased by 2.81 percent to Rs 65.29 crore.

It was founded in 2011 by Jaydeep Barman and Kallol Banerjee and has over 450 kitchens in 70 cities. Faasos, Behrouz Biryani, Ovenstory Pizza, Mandarin Oak, The Good Bowl, SLAY Coffee, Sweet Truth, Wendy’s, and other brands are owned by it. Rebel Food sources at present works north of 45 brands across different nations.
Expressing to this, the company said, “We are able to address large food categories from a single infrastructure through strong brands. Also during the year, we further strengthened our portfolio on the back of strong customer insights and culinary innovations. The board of directors are confident that the company will break even soon and will have a high growth rate in the years to come.”
