Ola achieves its goal & Inaugurates 600th & the largest showroom in Vadodara

Ola electric has inaugurated its 600th  and largest ever showroom in Vadodara marking a significant expansion of its service network in India. The company is aiming to expand its footptints out of tier 1 cities. The inauguration also included a free scooter health check-up for all Ola S1 owners, which was the cherry on cake of the event.

This new service centre in Vadodara is the largest in Gujarat. Ola Electric now operates 44 service centres in the state for enhancing after sales services. Ola Electric offers an 8-year/80,000 km extended battery warranty for its entire product range at no extra cost addressing a major barrier to electric vehicle adoption by extending vehicle lifespan.

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) maker Ola Electric, advised other EV manufacturers to cut back on marketing expenses and concentrate more on supply chains and technology.

He wrote,"I see some EV companies trying to make ‘cute’ ads in a bid to grow their stagnant sales."

He stated that the electric vehicle industry is fundamentally a supply chain and manufacturing business.Pro tip for them: Electric vehicles are a supply chain and manufacturing business. Save on marketing and sales expenses and invest that money into supply chains and technology to reduce your product costs.

Bhavish Aggarwal shared this post on the morning of July 12, and it has since garnered over 427,000 views. While some supported Aggarwal's perspective, others criticized Ola Electric's product quality and marketing strategies.

In reply an user wrote, "Another pro tip for those selling EVs, cloud infrastructure, maps, and AI under the banner of nationalism: Focus on quality, scalability, and employees rather than just nationalism. This approach could support international expansion and long-term success."
