Apart from gaining business inquires and investor connections, the startups held fruitful interactions with Invest in Spain and Barcelona Activa, which are the ecosystem stakeholders that connect businesses and investors. Discussions were also held on onboarding of the startup Premagic to the MWC in future.
Anoop Ambika, CEO of KSUM, commented on the involvement of startups at the MWC by stating that KSUM is the only delegation representing the nation at the event and has gained international visibility. At MWC, senior executives from leading worldwide corporations, international governments, and cutting-edge technology startups come together to make decisions that could result in significant changes for the mobile sector.
Groupe Speciale Mobile Association (GSMA), the international organisation that represents the interests of mobile network operators worldwide, is hosting the event, which is being attended by some 80,000 individuals from over 200 nations. The MWC comprises more than 2,000 exhibitors showcasing the most recent developments in the mobile sector.
