When it comes to the differentiating factor of Menzkart, Suresh said that they understand the shopping needs of the Indian male and have been successfully working towards meeting them. “Our entire focus has been on building a product and offering a service that generate high customer loyalty within our target group,” he added.

A major achievement of the portal is that a significant percentage of our customers apparently turned into returning buyers. “It proves we have been able to achieve our goal of building customer loyalty within Indian men. Another achievement we feel equally proud about is that we have been able to build and grow our business without offering COD as a mode of payment. That’s very rare from an Indian e-commerce business perspective,” Suresh said.

On expansion plans of the company, Suresh says, “We have a 6-month plan in place, where we are targeting incremental, monthly revenue figures. Once we are through with that exercise, we’ll be actively seeking out VCs for investment.”
