According to sources well-known with the subject and as reported by TechCrunch, Flipkart, a Walmart-backed Indian e-commerce giant supposedly nearing the possibility of acquiring the quick-grocery delivery platform Dunzo.

Considerations between Flipkart and Dunzo are said to be in progress, but the process has bumped into complications related to ownership structure of Dunzo, averting the both parties from attaining a agreement on the probable acquisition.

Also the report underscores that the retail arm of Reliance Industries, which acquired a 26 percent stake in Dunzo for $200 million in 2022, has yet to back up the deal which adding further complication to the process of negotiation.
