Logistics firm 'Delhivery' profit flows over 2X to Rs. 25 crore in Q3 FY25

The logistics company Delhivery reported an 8.4% year-over-year growth in sales in its Q3 FY25 figures, which were released on Friday. In the same time frame, the Gurugram-based company's earnings also doubled.

Delhivery's financial filings submitted to the National Stock Exchange show that its operating revenue increased to 2,378 crore in Q3 FY25.

Delhivery's main sources of income were its logistics services, which included last-mile logistics, warehousing, and the development and implementation of logistics management systems. The company's total revenue in Q3 FY25 was 2,477 crore, including 99 crore from non-operating activities.

71% of Delhivery's total expenses were related to freight handling and servicing, which increased by 11.3% to 1,750.7 crore in Q3 FY25. The amount spent on employee benefits stayed constant at Rs 356.2 crore. Depreciation, legal fees, and other administrative expenses increased overall spending by 7% during the quarter to 2,450 crore.

Delhivery's profits more than doubled to 25 crore in Q3 FY25 from 11.7 crore in Q3 FY24 as a consequence of its sustained growth and cost control.

In the first nine months of the current fiscal year, Delhivery has notably produced 6,740 crore in revenue, resulting in a positive bottom line of 89.5 crore.

A document with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) that Entrackr examined reveals that the SoftBank-backed Delhivery has named Vani Venkatesh, the Former Global CEO of Airtel, as its Chief Business Officer (CBO) as of today.
