Labour Ministry issues Notice to Paytm for 'Unfair' Termination of Employees
According to official sources, Paytm management appeared before the regional labour commissioner and agreed not to recover the worker’s joining bonus after the Labour Ministry criticized the company for allegedly terminating an employee. 
Official sources said Paytm has also consented to make the notice period payment installment to the said worker. In any case, they didn’t uncover the name of the worker who got the help. The issue was not addressed in an email sent to Paytm. 
In the meantime, official sources claim that the worker accepted Paytm’s offer to leave in the presence of the Regional Labour Commissioner (Central), Bengaluru. They also stated that the dispute has been resolved to the satisfaction of both parties following the parleys. 
They further notified that the Regional Labour Commissioner (Central), Bengaluru, acted quickly regarding this situation, following a grumbling documented by a representative in regards to supposed end rehearses at Paytm, and promptly gave a notification to the fintech organization. 
Due to this incident that other employees had also reportedly expressed their dissatisfaction with the activity in which Paytm allegedly carried out the forced termination, the status of certain other staff members is unclear. 
Prior, numerous ex-workers of Paytm informed that the organization's HR group cautioned them to leave deliberately or face disciplinary activity at the end of the May 2024. Additionally, they claimed that the company withheld their bonuses for joining and staying with the company.
Regarding, the official sources subjected to this matter says, “The representative of the management of Paytm appeared before the Commissioner today and agreed not to recover the joining bonus and to pay the notice period payment to the employee”.
