India is set to launch BharatGPT, an indigenous Generative AI solution
India is set to introduce BharatGPT, a solution based on a Large Language Model. The development of this solution will involve CoRover.ai, an AI startup, collaborating with the support system of I-HUB Anubhuti to build data-driven cognitive computing solutions.
Vikram Goyal, the project director of iHub Anubhuti IIITD Foundation and a CSE professor at IIITD, highlighted that a conversational AI platform requires various components such as user interface, management system, system integration, voice, and video capabilities to create Virtual Assistants. With these features integrated into its platform, BharatGPT is anticipated to be highly advanced.
BharatGPT is expected to prioritize the careful handling of sensitive information, ensuring data remains within India, aligning with the 'Make AI in India' initiative. Powered by CoRover's Conversational AI platform, BharatGPT will utilize computing resources employing a multi-layered NLP approach. This approach includes NLU, NLG, Deep Learning with Generative AI (unsupervised), supervised learning, AIML, and context-based autosuggestion to handle diverse user queries.
Pushpendra Singh, another project director at iHub Anubhuti IIITD Foundation and a CSE professor at IIITD, emphasized that BharatGPT, being a lightweight solution, facilitates swift and efficient implementation. This feature not only saves organizations valuable time but also contributes to a seamless integration process.
