ICAI facilitates a platform for a Big Target, Bigger Investors, & Biggest Success of STARTUPS
On 23rd May 2024, at ICAI Bhawan, Bangalore, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organized a press conference to inaugurate the Three-day program StartUP SPhere. A group of Chartered Accountants from ICAI hailed the inauguration. The press conference was lit up by the presence of well-established experts such as CA. Kavitha Paramesh, Secretary; CA. Abhay Kumar Chhajed, Ex-Chairman, Bhopal Branch of ICAI, CA. Pramod R. Hegde, Chairman; CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, President; CA. Dheeraj Kumar Khandelwal, Chairman, Committee on MSME; CA. Cotha S. Srinivas, Ex-Officio, Central Council Member; and CA. Geetha A.B., Ex-Officio Regional Council.   
The StartUP SPhere is a three-day program that will begin from 27th June to 29th June 2024. It is a productive platform for all the stakeholders and existing startups from various industries to be recognized and noticed by well-known investors. A collaborative force of the startup ecosystem who wants to work together to facilitate, strengthen, and connect new ideas & technologies. The existing startups of any stage can pitch their ideas to boost their confidence and successfully build their journey from concept to triumph.    
An overwhelmingly positive CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, President, ICAI stated, “Aiming to multiply the exhibitors, startup pitching, and funding from the first edition that was held last year in Mumbai. The first edition was a bumper success in expanding the Indian Startup ecosystem, where we witnessed 60 pitches presented to 75 investors and grabbed approximately $100 million in funding. The 2nd edition'24, the StartUP SPhere-Bangalore is steadily ready to feature 100 exhibitors, 200 startup pitching, 100 investors, and to seal the deals worth $200 million funding”.  
To break the records, make new history, and vouch for the transformation, the government and ministers will affirm their support for the event. With the theme 'Drishti', the event will be graced by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS).   
The goal is to abide by rules, create new ones, grow more unicorns, and strengthen the startup community with the help of entrepreneurs, founders, and investors. To be precise, more than 10,000 people are expected to participate in the event by establishing a foundation stone for students aspiring to aim bigger in life with their unique ideas and no funding. The event will be a guiding light for many budding minds and the changemakers of the society, as the power to shape the future belongs not just to a few, but to all of us.
