Dream11, a platform for fantasy sports, has acquired Sixer, a platform for fantasy stock trading founded in 2018. Sixer's operator Oyster Soft India and Dream11's creator Sporta Technologies have agreed to a business transfer. All of Sixer's assets and debts will be transferred to Dream11 as part of this arrangement.
Existing Sixer users with funds in their wallets need not be concerned about the transition. Sixer has assured a smooth transfer of services without any disruption for its users. The announcement of this acquisition was made on Tuesday, September 26, via an official email to users, informing them of the developments. Amay Makhija, the Founder of Sixer, expressed optimism that joining forces with Dream11 would lead to innovation and an enhanced gaming experience for players.
Sixer stands to benefit from Dream11's substantial user base, which currently exceeds 200 million active users. Makhija praised Dream11 as one of the country's most trustworthy and forward-thinking brands. He believes that Dream11 recognizes the innovation within Sixer's game and sees it as a potential future of fantasy sports. In Sixer's unique game, players are treated as stocks, and their performance directly affects their value, requiring users to make predictions and build teams accordingly.
