F&B SaaS startup Fudr partnership with Barista
Fudr, an F&B Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, has unveiled a significant collaboration with Barista, one of India's leading coffee chains boasting more than 400 locations. In this partnership, Barista is set to introduce a food ordering and payment application with a rewards system, scheduled for a Q3 2023 launch. Additionally, Fudr has secured a deal with Massive Restaurants, overseen by Zorawar Kalra, the entity behind 20+ well-known brands such as Farzi Cafe, Pa Pa Ya, and Louis Burger, to create a comprehensive super app for all the F&B brands within their portfolio. Furthermore, Ohris, a prominent F&B chain based in Hyderabad, has also joined forces with Fudr to launch an app designed for self-pickup, ordering, and loyalty card services, primarily focused on their specialty coffee brand, Qaffiene.
Rajat Agrawal, CEO, Barista Coffee, says, “In the current era, digitization has become of supreme essence. We have been evaluating a loyalty solution for our customers for a while and did evaluate a few service providers for the same. I am happy to share that we have signed up a mandate with Fudr for developing our loyalty app, considering the proactive approach of the team and detailed insights provided during the shortlisting process. We are excited to launch our loyalty app soon with the Fudr team and I am sure this will enable more seamless interactions with our guests and create a more rewarding environment for them as they engage with us across multiple stores”.
Co-founded by Aayush Khandpur, Prem Lokesh, Shobhit Marwah, and Akshat Khandpur, Fudr is dedicated to assisting F&B brands in India in developing their digital ecosystems through a SaaS-based application builder stack that seamlessly integrates with point-of-sale (POS) and payment systems. Through these transformative partnerships, Fudr has set its sights on creating a robust digital infrastructure for medium and large restaurant brands. Their goal is to empower these brands by facilitating the implementation of sophisticated technological solutions for their apps, fostering increased customer engagement and loyalty, all while reducing their reliance on the two dominant food aggregator apps in the market.
Fudr's steady growth over the past year is evident. The company currently serves more than 20 restaurant chains throughout India and has ambitious plans to onboard 150 additional restaurant brands within the next 18-24 months. Furthermore, Fudr is eyeing global expansion by entering key markets such as South East Asia and the MENA regions. Simultaneously, the company is broadening its offerings in India, venturing into fast-growing sectors like D2C (Direct-to-Consumer), salons, and wellness.
