Ex Business Head of Tech Mahindra Jagdish Mitra launches new startup Humanize

Former business head of Tech Mahindra India Jagdish Mitra has recently announced about the launch of his new startup Humanize. This is a Generative AI-powered software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup.

The news of this ne launch was flashed just after four months of Mitra’s departure from the trailblazer company Tech Mahindra. He joined the company in January 2015 as the Chief of Strategy and Marketing Officer and from there he evolved himself to the post of president and Head of Corporate Affairs of the company.

Humanize seeks to transform the software development procedure by fusing generative AI with low code/no code capabilities, thereby minimizing the duration businesses need for developing and launching solutions.

Utilizing AI and SaaS technology, the primary aim of this startup is to expedite enterprises' time-to-market.

The CEO of the company Jagdish Mitra said, “The primary goal of Humanize is to expedite the time-to-market process for corporations. This aim is achieved by utilizing two technological focal points: AI and SaaS (Low-code/No-code). Our belief is that technology services in the future will rely on an AI-driven foundation, delivering use cases specific to businesses. The agility and acceleration capabilities we provide are accompanied with human expertise behind each solution via our proprietary AI IP system.”

The startup is under development and it will be expected to be operational in the market within the next five to six months.

During their launch the company has secured an undisclosed amount of fund from global technology and digital talent solutions provider NLB Services. The company will use this raised fund for scaling technology and R&D, and for developing the AI platform, creating CoEs, expanding the workforce.

Mitra also informed, "Our AI IP will drive agility and acceleration and leverage human acumen behind each solution.  We have found the right partners with NLB Services in our journey. NLB’s global talent acquisition capabilities and expertise in Digital, Analytics, and Infrastructure are well-positioned to establish Humanize as a leader."

He further added that, Humanize will create a base of 80-100 customers and employ building an 800-1000 people team in the next five years of its operations. Presently, they are operating with a small team of 14-15 senior executives.

Primarily the company is eyeing on the Indian, the Middle East, and the US markets with a special focus on Global Capability Centers (GCCs) within enterprises. They are planning to expand into other regions, including Southeast Asia, Germany, the Nordic countries, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan, in the long term with their key areas of customer experience, supply chain management, and sustainability.

Mitra also mentioned, “Built on plug-and-play industry use cases on enterprise SaaS stack and powered by GenAI accelerators, our solutions will help enterprises with faster time-to-market by 15-20%. To aid our journey, we will be extensively hiring SaaS experts, full-stack engineers, data scientists, GenAI specialists, & Industry experts.”
