BYJU learning app blesses with free content to students

In the aftermath of the coronavirus epidemic, several schools throughout India have prompted students to stay home to avoid the spread of the lethal infectious virus that has killed more than four thousand people worldwide. Ed-tech startup BYJU 'S has stated that it will provide free access to its education software for students until the end of April 2020 to address the situation and support school students throughout the test cycle. In fact, the Indian government also told schools to remain closed in order to protect student’s health.

Students will download the BYJU'S-The Learning App and Disney BYJU's Early Learn to access the free content and they will be equipped with the whole BYJU’s library of educational content. Those with BYJU's apps already need to upgrade their code to view the entire content free of charge. Both Kindergarten to12th grade students can access and use BYJU's study content for free through this initiative. While 1-3 grades require students to learn mathematics and English, 6-12 grades are free to learn math concepts and science in the BYJU's app.

According to a recent report by the UNESCO, the schooling of over 290million students in 13 countries is likely to be disrupted by the spread of the coronavirus. However, the influence on these students preparation can be reduced with the advent of online educational platforms.
