Bonatra acquires women's health and wellness startup MyAva
MyAva, a women's health and wellness firm also based in Bengaluru, has been purchased by Bonatra, a holistic health startup that provides a comprehensive health stack solution to treat, manage, and reverse chronic conditions. With this acquisition, Bonatra hopes to broaden its holistic healthcare initiatives and establish itself as a one-stop resource for the management of chronic illnesses.
A femtech firm called MyAva gives women the tools they need to manage chronic health diseases like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), thyroid problems, insulin resistance, and more. Evelyn Immanuel began the business in 2019, and since then it has acquired a reputation as a reliable supplier of carefully selected programmes and specialised plans that assist women in enhancing their health and wellbeing.
Contrarily, the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) startup Bonatra is directed by a physician and is dedicated to the treatment and management of chronic illnesses like diabetes, hypertension, fatty liver, polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD), obesity, etc.
In order to strengthen its solutions, which are a fusion of medical science, data science, and technology, Bonatra wants to release newer IoMT devices, including a smart ring, in the Indian market over the course of the next six months. The business most recently completed a Pre-Seed Round raising Rs 5.5 crore.
