Bangalore: Noida based Info Edge, an active investor in the web and mobile space has made yet another investment in Applect Learning Systems Pvt. Ltd, a company that holds and operates the educational site – Meritnation. The latest funding is for about 30 crores, when all the past investments are summed up the total value of the deal hits 61.5 Cr, reports DealCurry.

Info Edge has been investing continuously in this firm, its first investment in this Applect was for 6.5 crores followed by second round of 5 Cr in 2010 later the company also procured its third round of funding from Info Edge in 2011 which was worth 20 Cr.  

Applect is a subsidiary company of Naukri and focuses in developing educational content by keeping K-12 segment as a primary and priority function.     It provides web based learning and assessment initiative along with customized content for institutions and personals.  It provides courseware, assessment items, teaching materials and also provides training materials to the countries in Middle East, Cannada and the U.S.
