Sensible Softwares May Get $2 Million Funding From Sequoia

Bangalore: Sequoia Capital may invest $2 million in Pune based Sensible Softwares, the developers of BootStrapToday, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application lifecycle management platform.

Sensible Softwares, founded in 2009 by Anand Agarwal, Nitin Bhide and Vishwajeet Singh had raised an angel funding of $250000 last year. The company is in talks with a number of other VC firms to finalize its series A round of Funding, said a report from Dealcurry.

With BootStrapToday, the company is targeting to get around 1000 paid customers by the end of Q1 next year. It had recently released BootStrapToday V3.0 Alpha, a revamped version of the current software with enhanced user experience and performance.

The company currently employees 12 people and is mainly focused in the SME sector, for which a SaaS based pay- per- use model is more effective for managing the internal projects. For larger companies, it offers an on-premise solution.
