Mind Edutainment Raises Rs 2.7 Crores from Accel Partners


Bangalore: Mind Edutainment, an India based fully integrated in school curriculum and delivery program organization has raised 2.7 crores from Accel partners and other angel investors led by Meena Ganesh, CEO and MD Pearson Education, as reported by Dealcurry.com.

HOTS is a program developed by Mind Edutainment which stands for 'Higher Order Thinking Skills', this program uses mind games and physical thinking tools. This program has been adopted by more than 40 schools in Karnataka, Delhi NCR, Uttaranchal, Tamil Nadu and Chandigarh. Around 5000 students of UKG to Grade VIII are being benefited with this program and have a complete subject on thinking skills development.

Mind Edutainment was founded in 2007 by Sangeeta Khurana and Ashutosh Khurana and their focus was to develop and provide solutions to improve emotional and social thinking skills among school going students. The funds raised in this round will be used to improve initial pilot project of THOTS lab from the current 3 cities to 8 cities to create and improve experiential learning.

THOTS lab is a scientifically designed space in pre schools and schools for students with a focus on thinking development, from the age of four with experiential learning within a school environment. This organization has its presence in all major cities including Delhi, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Cochin & Pune.
