Bangalore Educational Startup Raises $2 Million from Accel Partners

Bangalore: Educational startup; Limberlink has raised $2 Million funding from Accel Partners. Founded in 2009 by former IISC Professors, Swami Manohar and V Vinay, the company programs provide an out-of-classroom, beyond-curriculum training in core engineering.

There are two programs designed by LImberlink, one starts at the beginning of the first semester and runs all the way for three semesters and another 15 day boot camp for third-year engineering students. The programs are very conceptual and practical. The classes are delivered through 10-minute videos delivered online, as reported by DealCurry.

PESIT and Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology are already holding these programs by Limberlink, which has tie-ups with engineering firms like Nvidia, Sasken and Myntra to recruit students who come up in these boot camps.

“When the student accesses the video, he can see the text as it is being written and hear the audio along side. Students can learn the concepts at their own pace and then attend classroom sessions. There is an online support community of peers, industry experts and teachers as well,” says Economic Times about the Limberlink programs.
