Bangalore: Everyone wondered what his next move would be after leaving the famous “Foursquare” which he founded with Dennis Crowley but Naveen Selvadurai had a plan to play ‘fit’ in the fitness obsessed Silicon Valley with his new startup which would be backed by Google.

Foursquare, a location based social networking site for mobile phones, made huge profits for its services and it attracted over 20 million users in a short span. He left this organization which brought him great respect and fame on March 4, 2012 giving no much news about his futuristic plans.

Union square ventures witnessed a talk by Naveen where he said he is working on – “Google analytics for everything I knew about my body.” It was a quite clear statement that he was aiming to track the complete body behavior of an individual right from food consumption, exercise and sleep habits. It wouldn’t be a stretch for him to take that analytics driven thinking to the field of physical fitness because in Foursquare it tracked and analyzed the real world behavior with some fun element like ‘check-ins’, ‘badges’ and such other things.

Capturing body behavior and tracking all of it and promoting the notion of “Quantified Self”, Naveen would probably have more plans to make this start up with Google the ‘best’. And it would not be difficult for him to woo investors; because they have always been there, when you have a creative product.
