Find The Crushes Around You With 'Krush'

Bangalore: Conventional wisdom says finding a perfect match is never easy, but with ‘Krush’ he/she is just a fingertip away.

Krush, a dating app for Android which introduces you to single friends of friends has garnered huge following. Just a month after the launch of the BETA version, the app fetched 8500 downloads which is quite remarkable.

Krush is like your personal matchmaker. It understands how you are using your Facebook data (age, location, likes, interests, activities and so on) and matches you with compatible friends of friends. It sends you a batch of 10 daily dates who you are supposed to be "Liked" or "Skipped" anonymously.

If you happen to "Like" someone who also likes you back, both of you find out that the feelings are mutual and can then get in touch. If the feelings are just one way though, your crush never finds out about it and this eliminates the fear of rejection completely.

Krush has broken the ice between 240+ couples already. Some of these were "friends" who never got down to expressing their interest for years, while others are friends of friends who didn't even know that such matches existed until they used Krush.

Moving on, the team behind Krush is planning to assemble the perfect date in the same way as an individual choose the toppings of a pizza. They are working on some advanced facial recognition, social context, and personality-based algorithms that will be rolled out this year.

An iPhone app will be available on Valentines Day as well.
