1. Jameel Shah’s Dancing Shoes

A seventh standard drop out and runaway child from Bihar, Jameel runs Shah Shoes, a shoe manufacturing outlet in the centre of Dharavi. His organization sells more than 150 pairs of dancing shoes every month costing about 3000 rupees a pair to the celebrities of the Indian film industry. Jameel who plans to spread his presence through out the country started his career at an early age of fourteen in leather tanneries. "My dream is to open my workshop all over India. I also want to open my dance store all over India. India doesn't have a dance store because dancers needs dance costumes, dance wear and something related to dance which people don't find elsewhere. I want to open dance stores and my biggest dream is to make US President Barack Obama wear my shoes," Jameel told Money Control.
