Victories and failures, smiles and cries are all part of the game which is also the case with entrepreneurship. Mary Kom was born in Kangathei, Manipur on March1, 1983. Though she could not complete her schooling successfully, she was always passionate and had a keen interest in athletics. She initially tried to hide her interest in boxing since it was not considered a suitable sport for women. She did not give up and with her strong mindset she decided to go for a match and won the Manipur state women's boxing championship in 2000 and thus her career became public.
