The online digital lending platform, Capzest has managed to secure a seed funding of US$ 200,000 from Lion Ventures. The company was founded by former IItians Sayantan Sarkar and Rohan Adlakha who had brief stints at the Deutsche Bank and The Rothschild Group. The investor group for the startup includes Anurag Mehrotra; Varun Dua, CEO of Coverfox and Amit Tambe, former senior partner of Trilegal India. The company partners with banks and NBFCs to offer personal loans and business loans to SMEs. With the introduction of its official App, the company expects to see a 60-70 percent increase in personal loan applications.
