One97 Communications (Paytm)

Paytm parent company, One97 Communications, got funding and investment by Tata in march 2015. One97 is a Noida-based company offers virtual wallet Paytm service and claims to have 80 million users. The company is setting its foot in the online retail business to compete with biggies like Flipkart and Snapdeal. The startup had raised $575 million from Alipay prior to announcement of Tata’s investment in the venture.
