Investing in Urban Ladder in 2014 was Tata’s third investment in the e-tailing business. Urban Ladder is a Bengaluru-based, online furniture marketplace launched in 2012 by Ashish Goel and Rajiv Srivatsa. The online startup offers a wide range of 1,000 products from 25 different categories. Currently the company is valued at $200 million and has raised $27 million from investors.
