Knowing the Unknown - Formula 1

  1. A Formula 1 Driver Loses Around 4 Kgs in Weight & 3 Litres of Water after a Single Race: Do you know that in the cockpit (a section of the chassis in which the driver sits), the temperature rises up to 50 degrees Celsius and this is identified as the primary reason why drivers lose around four kilograms of weight after a single F1 race. On the bright side, this is a perfect way to reduce weight if you[re a motor enthusiast, but it's very unlikely that you get a chance to drive a Formula 1 car. Along with the temperature rise, the physical impact of the G-Force has an effect too in the weight loss.

Also, an average F1 car is provided with almost 1.5 litres of water in the car, which is clasped to the sides of the helmet of the drivers. Drivers have to be physically fit as they have to race for almost two hours straight without a break. I guess, no one ever thought about the complications these drivers face, no wonder why they are earning millions and millions.
