IPL 2025: Rajasthan Royals Opt to Bowl Against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Season Opener
Rajasthan Royals' stand-in captain Riyan Parag won the toss and elected to bowl against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their opening match of IPL 2025 on Sunday. The highly anticipated clash is taking place at a packed stadium, with both teams eager to start their campaign on a winning note.
Rajasthan Royals, the inaugural champions, have named four overseas players in their XI Shimron Hetmyer, Maheesh Theekshana, Jofra Archer, and Fazalhaq Farooqi. Meanwhile, 2016 winners SRH, who finished as runners-up last season, handed debuts to Ishan Kishan and Abhinav Manohar.
