UNESCO's Recently Added World Heritage Sites


Sanganeb Marine National Park and Dungonab Bay (Sudan):

Sanganeb Marine National Park located in the Red Sea is formed by combining two major natural sites. The first is the Sanganeb which is an isolated coral reef structure, just 25 kilometers off the shore of Sudan.  The second part of this marine national park is the Dungonab Bay situated 125 kilometers north of Sudan Port.

Khangchendzonga National Park (India):

Khangchendzonga National Park is also a Biosphere reserve located in Sikkim, India. This site is rich in glaciers like ‘Zemu glacier’ and is also a habitat for animals like musk deer, snow leopard, and Himalayan Tahr.
