Nohsngithiang Waterfall (Meghalaya)
Often called as the Seven Sisters Waterfalls or Mawsmai Falls, Nohsngithiang falls is a seven segmented waterfall in Meghalaya. During the sunrise and sunset, the waterfall looks absolutely stunning and this adds the number of visitors during this time. Due to the immense crowd, the locals in the area also provide stay for the visitors.
It is located 1km south of Mawsmai village in East Khasi Hills and water here falls from a height of 315m. Visitors can reach at the waterfalls by taking a cheap flight to nearby Guwahati airport from Kolkata.
