Car enthusiasts in India look forward to the launch of the XA Alpha by Maruti Suzuki. The sub-compact SUV will be powered by 1.3-litre multijet diesel mill which also sources few other Maruti cars. Showcased at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo, this is one the most awaited cars this year and it expected to be priced around 6.50 - 10 lakh.

Hyundai seems to have felt the heat from the trending SUV fever in India. Hyundai unveiled ix25 at the recently held 2014 auto expo. The second biggest carmaker in the country is all geared up to launch its 1.4-litre VTVT petrol and 1.4-litre CRDi diesel engine sourced ix25. The car features in the compact segment measuring about 4.2-metres.
