Honda Brio-Based Compact SUV
Racking up some big sales number in 2014, Honda is now planning to come up with its next product, a sub-compact SUV, which is based on the Brio platform. After the Amaze and City, Honda’s subcompact SUV is also expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine.
The 4-metre length would make this car more spacious. Priced around 
11 lakh, this car could take up tail-lamps as CR-V and lower entry-point boot.
Mahindra S101 and U 301 Compact SUVs
Mahindra girding up its lions to meet the Indian market expectations with SUV trending big time. The company plans to launch two new SUVs – S101 AND U301. Mechanized by 1.5litres diesel and 1.2litres petrol engines, S101 features a Sub 4-metre length and could be priced under 4 lakh.
On the other hand, U301, replacing the Bolero, would be a 7-seater with ladder chassis and 1.5litre diesel motor. The price is expected between 6.5 - 8.5 lakh.
