The apex body of India’s IT industry also named Satish HC, Chief Delivery Officer at Infosys, as the Chair of the newly formed Council. With over 30 years of experience in global talent strategy, innovation, and digital transformation, Satish is expected to spearhead the Council's efforts to nurture a high-trust, agile, and skilled digital workforce.
“This is not just about upskilling; it’s about India moving from being talent-rich to expert talent leveraging AI and emerging technologies to transform enterprises and society”, said Satish HC. The Talent Council will focus on unlocking new models of talent mobility, enhancing retention strategies, and promoting regionally distributed employability programs.
Additionally, the Council aims to enable data-driven decision-making by providing access to exclusive market research, global best practices, and cutting-edge industry insights. These efforts are designed to help organizations craft more effective talent strategies in an increasingly digital world.
Representing an industry worth over $284 billion, Nasscom’s latest initiative reflects its commitment to keeping India’s technology workforce globally relevant, resilient, and future-ready.
